Watch a recording from this webinar.

There is increasing worldwide attention to engaging citizens and patients in setting direction for broad system changes. Drawing on lessons learned from two rapid syntheses and a stakeholder dialogue about rapid-learning health systems, François-Pierre Gauvin (Senior Scientific Lead, Citizen Engagement and Evidence Curation of the McMaster Health Forum) discussed why citizen and patient engagement is a key pillar of rapid-learning systems, and identified current and future challenges in citizen and patient engagement.

Webinars in this series feature top ten insights into health- and social-systems, evidence-informed policymaking and a range of key health and social issues, from Forum experts and influential policymakers, stakeholders and researchers from around the world.
