Top Ten insights into expanding Social Systems Evidence to cover environmental factors

Watch the recording from our June 2019 ‘Top Ten‘ webinar: Top Ten insights into expanding Social Systems Evidence to cover environmental factors.

With a growing international focus on evidence-informed policymaking to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), a new partnership between the McMaster Health Forum and the Monash Sustainable Development Institute (MSDI) is expanding the scope  of Social Systems Evidence (SSE) to cover all of the SDGs. Peter Bragge (Associate Professor and Director of Health Programs, Monash Sustainable Development Institute) and François-Pierre Gauvin (Senior Scientific Lead, Citizen Engagement and Evidence Curation of the McMaster Health Forum) presented an overview of the many ways in which the partnership between their two organizations will increasingly enable Social Systems Evidence to support the policymakers, stakeholders and researchers who are working to achieve the SDGS in the areas of climate change, energy, the environment, and natural resources.

Webinars in this series feature top ten insights into health- and social-systems, evidence-informed policymaking and a range of key health and social issues, from Forum experts and influential policymakers, stakeholders and researchers from around the world.
