Refugee Health: Cuts, Costs and Conflicts in Care

Hamilton pediatrician Dr. Andrea Hunter, who also works at the Refuge: Hamilton Centre for Newcomer Health, will lead this discussion on challenges faced by refugees and immigrants in obtaining adequate healthcare in Ontario, particularly in light of recent cuts to the Interim Federal Health Program. She will be joined by Gabrielle Inglis, a senior medical student at McMaster who is co-founder of the student group, Health Advocacy for Refugees Program. All are welcome to attend.
