Want to design and test a digitally enabled innovation that has the potential to improve patient access, experience, and healthcare outcomes? Then we have a program solution for you! The Innovating Digital Health Solutions (IDHS) program is an extension of the Tests of Change program which demonstrated great success over the last two years focused on three emerging areas: - Population Health Management - Next Generation Health Care; and, - Person-Centred Digital Health.

This program provided funding to support approved OHTs, In Development Teams, and other healthcare organizations that wanted to design and test a digitally enabled innovation that has the potential to improve patient access, experience, and health care outcomes. This time around we are looking to OHTs to work in collaboration with us to determine the challenge themes and statements that would be most beneficial to you, health system stakeholders. Help us identify and prioritize themes that are meaningful to you and the Ontarians you care for. These themes will form the basis for future work where you’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with an Ontario-based SME to address the theme of your choice.

You are invited to be a changemaker: You're invited to take part in one of two in person workshop sessions (and one virtual session for those who require one, please inquire with contact below) to help create challenge statements which will be the basis of the IDHS program. The defined Challenge Statements for the IDHS program will be announced soon. As an attendee of any workshop, you will be automatically invited to the Early Market Engagement session where you will be joined by other OHTs, In Development Teams, and healthcare organizations as well as MOH representatives, OCI team members, and curated Ontario-based SMEs that can help with the design and testing of the challenge solutions you are looking for. For those who can’t make it to these sessions, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to attend the Market Engagement session. If you’d like to contribute your thoughts on the challenge statements, we’re happy to share the day’s worksheet for you to complete by April 25, 2023 (link to request document below).
