Making the News: Media Relations Workshop
Facilitators Ken Marciniec, a communications officer with the Ontario Nurses’ Association, and Sarah Elton, a Toronto-based journalist and author, provided an overview of how the media works, advice on how to communicate most effectively with journalists, and reliable techniques for crafting the message, which ultimately can empower students to create change.
