As more emphasis is placed on the importance of supporting the use of evidence to strengthen health systems globally, it is important to understand and learn from the innovative approaches taken in different regions around the world. Dong (Roman) Xu (executive deputy director of the Sun Yat-sen Global Health Institute of the Sun Yat-sen University), Yaolong Chen (founding director of Chinese GRADE Center and co-director of WHO Collaborating Centre for Guideline Implementation and Knowledge Translation), and Qi Wang (PhD Student in the Health Policy PhD program at McMaster University) shared insights from the experiences of the Chevidence working group.
