Overview
RISE has convened a time-limited support team to support data sharing and privacy (DSP) as a means to an end of supporting integrated-care deliverables (e.g., increasing participation in cancer screening and advancing chronic disease prevention and management activities).
The DSP support team includes three experts in the field:
- Daniel Michaluk, National Co-Leader, Privacy and Cybersecurity, Borden Ladner Gervais LLP
- Katherine Kresta, Senior Consultant, MD+A Health Solutions
- Lauren Black, General Counsel & Chief Legal, Privacy and Compliance Officer, VHA Home HealthCare.
RISE has already worked with the DSP support team to create an OHT data-sharing agreement (DSA) toolkit, to develop an initial set of DSP implementation supports (such as drop-in sessions), and to launch an OHT DSP capability self-assessment survey. RISE will add additional DSP implementation supports over time, such as a workshop training series, an OHT privacy toolkit, and a community of practice (on Quorum).
