Andrew MacLean

Senior lead, Coaching and inter-team facilitation, RISE (McMaster Health Forum)

In his work with RISE, Andrew provides leadership on the inter-team coaching project, and supports the population health management coaching project. In these roles, he works with health system leaders to enable collaboration to advance the coordination of care in their area.

Andrew is currently a mature medical student at the Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine at McMaster University.

Before his recent return to Ontario, he spent a number of years working in health policy, communications, and government relations on the East Coast. He was heavily involved in the creation and maturity of an electronic medical record company. He also worked at a healthcare consulting firm and the Ontario Medical Association. He has degrees from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and the University of New Brunswick.
