Nina Doad

Developing young leader interested in health promotion and citizen engagement

Nina Doad is an undergraduate health sciences student at the University of Waterloo in Canada, where she also volunteers in the Wisdom and Culture lab, which combines core features of wisdom (intellectual humility, open-mindedness to change, integration of diverse viewpoints, and prosocial orientation). Nina is the research associate for the Collaborative Healthcare Improvement Partnerships (CHIPs) theme group of the Canadian Association of Health Services and Policy Research (CAHSPR). She is a member of the Citizen Leadership Group of the Global Commission on Evidence to Address Societal Challenges. Nina is also a working group member and chapter lead for the Canadian Social Prescribing Student Collective. She is interested in health promotion and disease prevention.
