ESN-CA is a key contributor to the second and third of four elements of an optimal infrastructure for addressing misinformation:

  1. signal detection
  2. response-type selection based on evidence about addressing misinformation
  3. message creation based on the best available research evidence about the claims being made
  4. visuals creation and communication channels use.

For the second element – response-type selection – you can keep up-to-date with the latest evidence on strategies to reduce misinformation through our living evidence synthesis and plain language summary. For the third element – message creation – you can keep up-to-date with Canadian evidence through this website and with global evidence using this website as a gateway to the Evidence Synthesis Infrastructure Collaborative (ESIC).
