Qualitative insights
The qualitative insights hub undertakes timely, demand-driven qualitative research. This includes both new qualitative studies undertaken rapidly when ‘windows’ of opportunity open and rapid contextualized syntheses of what has been learned from previously conducted qualitative research.

The qualitative insights hub has a several year history of collaboration with the evidence-synthesis hub, as reflected in the following illustrative outputs:
- designing and delivering specialized services for diverse populations (collaborative evidence product – coming in 2027-01)
- actions to strengthen community resilience and psychosocial wellbeing in preparation for future pandemics (evidence synthesis – coming in 2026-12)
- Indigenous cultural safety within mainstream health systems: a rapid review of the literature and considerations for Indigenous Canadian Armed Forces members accessing military health services (evidence synthesis – published in 2025-08).
We are not aware of another existing applied qualitative insights network in Canada.
