Rudolf Russell du Toit

Executive Lead, Evidence-Support Systems
Rudolf is helping the Global Commission on Evidence to Address Societal Challenges (the Evidence Commission) to formalize and strengthen Canada's evidence-support systems, and to enhance and leverage the global evidence architecture. This includes developing and executing strategies; leading engagements with Canadian federal, provincial, and territorial governments, as well as foreign governments (Australia, UK, select other countries), the United Nations, and potential funders; supporting pilots of innovative evidence-coordination mechanisms; building the case for investment in the global evidence architecture; and tracking progress. Rudolf brings diverse prior experience leading and advising on organizational transformation and strategy across the private, not-for-profit, and (most recently) public sectors. He holds a BA in Political Science & Economics from the University of Victoria and a Master of Industrial Relations & Human Resources from the University of Toronto, during the latter of which he conducted research on diverse team performance funded by Canada's Social Sciences & Humanities Research Council.
