Meghan Lofft

Meghan Lofft is the lead of program and project management at the McMaster Health Forum. Her role supports the Forum’s commitments to partners and funders and contributes to the execution of the annual workplan. 

In her research experience, Meghan has worked to explore and understand translational barriers in many facets of the Canadian healthcare space across provincial and federal environments. Utilizing end-user focused methodologies that encompass problem identification, needs assessment, iterative product development, and stakeholder engagement, she has a robust understanding of the complexities that exist in mobilizing what we know to achieve impacts ‘on the ground’ at the level of Canadian health systems and society. 

She is an experienced medical writer with emphasis on appraising and summarizing evidence-based guidelines for audiences of Canadian healthcare practitioners. She has a strong understanding of rigorous qualitative research methodologies and established knowledge translation and learning theories.

Meghan holds a B.Sc. from the University of Guelph, an M.H.Sc. from the University of Toronto’s Translational Research Program, and a certificate in project management from McMaster University. Prior to her work at the Forum, she worked with the Foundation for Medical Practice Education.
