McMaster Health Forum | Student Fellowships

For senior undergraduate students aspiring to be health- and social-system leaders, the Forum’s Fellowship in Strengthening Health and Social Systems is an exceptional, year-long opportunity to be part of the Forum community. This program allows McMaster students to study while also participating actively in the work of the Forum. Fellows are exposed to influential doers and thinkers, contribute to Forum products and events, and complete an internship in a government ministry or an international agency such as the World Health Organization.

The Forum issues a call for applications in February, with positions starting the following September. Some scholarship support is provided.

If you have missed this year’s application deadline but want to learn more about the fellowship:

  • read about our current Forum Fellows (and our past Forum Fellows);
  • follow @MacHForumFellow on Twitter for insights and updates from the McMaster Health Forum Fellows; and
  • read the MacHealthForumFellowFiles, which is a student blog that gives Forum Fellows and other students involved in Forum activities the opportunity to share their unique experiences with other students within the McMaster community and beyond.
