François-Pierre Gauvin
Senior Scientific Lead, Citizen Engagement and Evidence CurationFrançois-Pierre leads the Forum’s citizen-engagement initiatives and the maintenance and ongoing content development of: 1) Health Systems Evidence (www.healthsystemsevidence.org), the world’s most comprehensive, free access point for high-quality evidence about how to strengthen or reform health systems, and 2) Social Systems Evidence (www.socialsystemsevidence.org), the world's most comprehensive, free access point for evidence about strengthening or reforming 20 government sectors and program areas, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. He also leads the Forum’s francophone-outreach activities.
François-Pierre's research interests focus on evidence-informed policymaking, as well as public and patient engagement in addressing pressing policy issues. He is also interested in the potential of deliberative forums to find innovative solutions to collective problems. Francois-Pierre holds a PhD in health research methodology from McMaster University, as well as a BA and MA in political science from Université Laval.
