Hannah Whitelaw is a Co-lead of the Evidence Synthesis team and the Editor of Social Systems Evidence at the Forum. On the Evidence Synthesis team, she contributes to the curation of knowledge synthesis products to inform decision-making in both the health and social system sectors. In the Editor role, she assists in high-level decision-making and curation of evidence syntheses in the world's most comprehensive, free-access point for evidence about strengthening 20 government sectors and program areas, and achieving the Sustainable Development Goals.
Previously as an undergraduate student and member of the ForumLab team, she was the Senior Student Office Lead for the COVID-19 Evidence Network to support Decision-making (COVID-END) database, where she managed a team of students in maintaining the most globally reliable source of quality-appraised evidence syntheses for COVID-19 decisions.
Hannah holds a Master of Science in Anthropology from the University of Toronto supported by a Canadian Graduate Scholarships Master’s Program grant and an Honours Bachelor of Science from McMaster University. Her research interests include addressing system-level challenges and barriers across a broad range of social and health system settings.
