Duber Osorio is a PhD student in the Health Policy program at McMaster University, supervised by John Lavis. He is a dentist from the University of Antioquia (Colombia) and completed a Master of Dental Sciences with a focus on Collective Health at the University of São Paulo (Brazil). He is a researcher at the Latin America and Caribbean Evidence Hub (Hub LAC) and at the Evidence and Deliberation Unit for Decision-Making (UNED) at the University of Antioquia.
His thesis research focuses on promoting and strengthening evidence-informed decision-making infrastructure in the Global South through capacity sharing. His work has centered on building national and regional networks for evidence-informed policy in Latin America and the Caribbean, as well as conducting evidence syntheses to support health policy decision-making.
