Anika Garg

Anika is an undergraduate student in the Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) program at McMaster University. She currently works as a research assistant with the McMaster Health Forum’s ForumLab. In this position, she contributes to the COVID-END, Health Systems Evidence, and Social Systems Evidence databases. Through her involvement in population health research and the McMaster Health Forum she has developed an interest in public health, evidence-informed decision making, and improving health systems.

As an outgoing Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Anika will be travelling to Australia to work at the Sax Institute in Sydney, NSW. Anika will be supporting and learning from the Evidence Connect team, and hopes to gain further insight into the process of integrating evidence into decision making to enhance health systems.
