Amy Ramzy

Queen Elizabeth Scholar in Strengthening Health and Social Systems (2023)

Amy is a graduate student in the Global Health program at McMaster University, with a specialization in Globalization and Equity. She also holds a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree and a Certificate of Applied Ethics and Policy from McMaster University. Through her previous work as a research assistant, she has considerable experience on both qualitative and quantitative projects, with a particular interest in population-level research and health systems evaluation.

As an outgoing Queen Elizabeth Scholar, Amy will be travelling to Trinidad and Tobago to work alongside the Caribbean Centre for Health Systems Research and Development (CCHSRD). She is excited to learn about the health systems challenges within the unique context of the Caribbean and to work towards implementing more equitable healthcare for all.
