Examining intersections between Ontario Health Teams and specialty service lines

OHTs are not expected to provide highly specialized services (specialty service lines), though fulfilling the objective of population-health management for an OHTs attributed population will require them to establish intersections with specialty service lines. Building connections between OHTs and specialty service lines presents an opportunity to address challenges including long wait times, lack of coordination, gaps in coverage and inequities in access.
