Zixuan Gan is a Master’s student at Lanzhou University in China. Her research interests focus on: 1) the application of AI in living evidence synthesis; 2) the impact of meteorological factors on infectious diarrheal diseases; and 3) the institutionalization of evidence-informed decision-making.
She will spend 12 months at the McMaster Health Forum working on the application of AI in living evidence synthesis and rapid evidence-support system assessment across Canada and China, under the supervision of Prof. John N. Lavis.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Lanzhou University.
