Citizens are inundated with information and misinformation, alongside sophisticated efforts to intentionally mislead the public (disinformation). This session will share the latest updates and insights from a CIHR-funded LES on health-related misinformation, a new LES underway about strategies to address misinformation related to political institutions, as well as insights from government decision-makers, citizens and researchers championing efforts to strengthen evidence-support systems and to address misinformation.

This session was held at the 2024 CAHSPR Conference at the Delta Hotel, Ottawa City Centre on May 14th.
